About Me

I am actively seeking a position in user experience design or interaction design to start work in August 2011 upon completion of my master’s degree. Please see my résumé if you’d like to get in touch.

After graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 with a degree in electrical engineering and a minor in computer science, I worked as an IT & business software consultant for 6 years, specializing in Dynamics AX, an ERP software solution by Microsoft.  I’ve received glowing reviews from clients of all sizes (web start-ups to multinational corporations) in a variety of industries (retail, shipping, national defense, and more).

In 2010, I enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University’s master’s of human-computer interaction program, where I have since excelled in one of the nation’s most respected HCI curriculums.  I graduate in August 2011.

Before moving to Pittsburgh, I lived in or near Chicago my entire life.  I love biking, traveling, reading, running, playing guitar & piano, and generally being an obsessive-compulsive neat freak.  Lately I’ve also been pretending that I know how to cook.
