Congrats on the change – I’m sure you’ll enjoy your time off as well as your new adventures! However, it probably wasn’t the best idea to post this on April’s Fools.

Agreed, Soul Coughing was an oustanding band. Lucy & I are really bummed that all 3 of Mike's Chicago shows this October sold out before we could get tickets. I can't wait for the new album to show up.

I've been a mad Soul Coughing fan ever since I heard Screenwriter's Blues. (Still one of their best.) I still can't believe such an incredible band ever broke up.

Actually, a friend of mine gave me a vintage El Oso yo-yo just a few days ago. And now this piece of plastic is one of my most treasured items.

I've only sporadically listened to Doughty's solo work, but have loved what I heard. We're about to put through an amazon order. I'll have to tack that CD on.
